Mario Moretto

Mario Moretto is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Director for Congressman Jared Golden in the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2024. Prior to this role, Mario held positions at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities as Deputy Director of State Communications, focusing on communications strategies for federal and state tax and budget campaigns, and managing statewide communications. Notable prior experience includes serving as Communications Director for the Maine Center for Economic Policy and the Maine Senate Democrats, where Mario led communication strategies and managed staff. Mario also has a background in journalism, having reported on Maine politics and government for the Bangor Daily News and The Forecaster Newspapers. Mario holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Anthropology from the University of Maine.
