Samantha Cynn

Samantha Cynn is currently serving as a Press Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives since August 2024. Previously, Samantha held the position of Membership Chair for The Jefferson Literary and Debating Society from January 2024 to May 2024. Experience also includes working as a Front Desk Attendant at the Miller Center of Public Affairs from August 2021 to May 2024, and as an Opinion Columnist and Columnist for The Cavalier Daily between September 2019 and May 2023, contributing to both the Opinion and Life sections. Additionally, Samantha served as a Copyeditor for The Jefferson Literary and Debating Society in 2022 and was the Diversity and Inclusion Chair for the Korean Student Association at the University of Virginia from August 2020 to May 2021. Education includes a Master of Arts in Media, Culture & Technology from the University of Virginia, anticipated in May 2024, and Bachelor's degrees in Government and Media Studies from the same institution, completed in 2023, following graduation from West Springfield High School in 2019.
