Sean Smith

Sean Smith has extensive experience in legislative roles, currently serving as Legislative Director for Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar in the U.S. House of Representatives since March 2023, after previously holding the position of Legislative Assistant for the same congresswoman. Prior to this, Sean worked as a Federal Affairs Specialist for both the Alzheimer's Association® and the Alzheimer's Impact Movement from April 2021 to March 2023. Sean began a notable career in legislative support as a Legislative Correspondent and Scheduler for Congressman Gus M. Bilirakis, with an internship in the same office from August 2018 to April 2021. Additional work experience includes hosting at City Tap House - Penn Quarter and serving as a Member Services Associate at Beacon Hill Country Club. Sean held a leadership role as President of Kappa Sigma Fraternity during college. Sean earned a Bachelor's Degree in American History and Political Science from Coastal Carolina University in 2017.
