Sofia Mingote

Sofia Mingote is currently serving as a Legislative Assistant and Fellow for the U.S. House of Representatives, where responsibilities include managing healthcare policy priorities and collaborating on immigration issues within the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. Previously, Sofia held positions as a Public Policy Fellow at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, and a Public Policy and Advocacy Fellow at the Hispanic Services Council, focusing on Medicaid outreach efforts. Notable leadership roles include Co-Chair of the Constitutional Cabinet for Florida Cicerones and service as an Official Student Ambassador at the University of Florida. Sofia has experience as a Multimedia Journalist for PBS WUFT-TV and has actively engaged in civic research and advocacy during undergraduate studies, earning dual degrees in Telecommunication and Political Science from the University of Florida.
