Yvonne Hernandez

Yvonne Hernandez currently serves as a Staff Assistant and Legislative Correspondent for Representative Grijalva at the U.S. House of Representatives since October 2023. Prior to this role, Yvonne worked as a Scheduling Assistant in the United States Senate from April 2022 to June 2023 and completed an internship with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute between January 2022 and April 2022. Earlier career experience includes working as a Biller at Cornerstone Family Dental, where responsibilities involved mediating coordination of benefits and negotiating with insurance companies from August 2019 to January 2022, and as a Dental Assistant at SurfCity Dental, focusing on maintaining sterile environments and assembling dental prosthetics from January 2018 to December 2019. Yvonne earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Merced in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in National Security Policy Studies at the Elliott School of International Affairs.
