Stephen Sklenka

Stephen Sklenka is a highly experienced military leader currently serving as the Deputy Commandant for Installations & Logistics at the United States Marine Corps since May 1988 and holds the rank of Lieutenant General. Noteworthy prior positions include Deputy Commander and Director of Strategic Planning & Policy J5 at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command from July 2019 to August 2024, and Commanding General of the 1st Marine Logistics Group from July 2017 to July 2019. Stephen has also held various leadership roles including Principal Director for South & Southeast Asia at OSD-Policy and Commanding Officer of Combat Logistics Regiment-15. With academic credentials including a Master of Arts in Unconventional Warfare from American Military University and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College, Stephen Sklenka possesses a robust educational background complemented by extensive military experience.
