Carl Lavo

Carl LaVO serves as an editorial board member, weekly columnist, and digital script writer for Bucks County Courier Times and The Intelligencer since November 2013, engaging with community leaders and political candidates while providing insights on local history. Additionally, Carl has been an author and contributing journalist for the US Naval Institute's Naval History magazine since 1986, having written four non-fiction books for the Press. Previously, Carl held the position of Assistant Managing Editor at Calkins Media, Inc. from 1999 until November 2013. Educational background includes attendance at El Capitan High School in California and the University of Florida.
