Jose Gomez

Jose Gomez currently serves as the Military Deputy Foreign Policy Advisor and Chief of the Theater Security Cooperation Programs Branch at NORAD & US Northern Command, holding these positions since July 2021. With extensive experience in the United States Department of Defense since 2013, roles have included Navy Section Chief for Security Cooperation Offices in Brazil and El Salvador, as well as POL-MIL Officer at U.S. Southern Command. Jose Gomez has a solid background in naval operations, having served in various capacities throughout their career, including positions in U.S. Naval Forces Europe/Africa and the US Marine Corps. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida.
