Patricia Vollmer

Patricia Vollmer is an accomplished METOC Officer and Team Supervisor at NORAD & US Northern Command, with extensive experience in military meteorology and operational support. Since May 2020, Patricia has been responsible for overseeing meteorological operations. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Operations at the United States Air Force Academy, where instruction in meteorology and geography was provided, and holding various positions in the US Air Force Reserve, including METOC Effects Officer and Admissions Liaison Officer. Patricia's leadership in critical weather operations has supported numerous military missions, including directing a weather team for the 28th Operational Weather Squadron. An expert in meteorological data analysis and forecasting, Patricia holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Meteorology from Penn State University and the Air Force Institute of Technology, respectively, and is also a Senior Editor at GeekDad LLC, managing content related to pop culture, parenting, and STEM.
