George Preston

George Preston is currently the CEO of the U.S. Pole Company. George has a long and successful history in business, having served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Bartco Lighting, as well as the President and CEO of Permlight Technologies.

George is a master at implementing processes and reengineering companies for maximum efficiency and profitability. At Bartco Lighting, they instituted processes in Lean Operations, Agile Management, Innovation, and Teamwork, which led to the launch of a new technology that added 14% to the company's topline. George also instituted Lean manufacturing practices that reduced inventory by 50% and increased throughput by 20%.

At Permlight Technologies, George choreographed a business restructuring that turned the company from a loss to profitability. George also reengineered the company's supply chain to Asia, which reduced costs by 21%. In addition, they established a new OEM channel to market and grew revenue by 80%.
