Courtney Muñoz, CFP®, has a work experience spanning over 18 years. Courtney began their career in 2002 at Ameriprise Financial as a Financial Advisor and later became a Sales Manager. In 2005, they joined MassMutual Financial Group as a Financial Consultant and went on to become an Agency Director in Career Agency Distribution. In this role, they managed Career Agencies and worked closely with General Agents to achieve sales results. Courtney also played a key role in implementing the Department of Labor Fiduciary Rule, leading sales process and technology enhancements. In 2018, they joined U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners as the Senior Vice President in the Western Division, and later transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives in 2020. Courtney has extensive experience in sales, leadership, and financial consulting.

Courtney Muñoz, CFP®, has a strong education background focusing on business and financial planning. In 1998, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Economics from Union College, where they studied economics, engineering, and Japanese. Following their undergraduate studies, Courtney pursued a certification as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the College for Financial Planning, completing the program in 2006. Courtney later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Connecticut between 2011 and 2014. Additionally, Courtney holds the prestigious certification of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER from the CFP Board, which they obtained in May 2006.
