Alex Furlong

Alex Furlong serves as the President of U.S. Risk Wholesale & MGA at U.S. Risk, LLC since January 2023. Prior to this role, Furlong was the Practice Leader for Wholesale Brokerage at One80 Intermediaries from December 2019 to January 2023 and held the position of Vice President at AmWINS Group from June 2018 to July 2019, where responsibilities included building and managing a book of business in specialty commercial insurance. Previous experience includes the role of Assistant Vice President at All Risks, Ltd from October 2013 to May 2018 and military service as a Special Forces Officer and Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army from June 2005 to August 2013. Educational background includes an MBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and a degree in International Studies with a focus on Mandarin Chinese and Asian Affairs from Ohio University.
