Julie Sumpter

Julie Sumpter has a solid work experience in accounting and finance spanning over multiple companies and roles. Julie started their career as an Accountant at Heartland Regional Medical Center in 1988, where they worked until 1997. Julie then joined St. Joseph Catholic Church & School as an Accountant and remained in that role for nine years. In 2013, Julie took on the position of Accountant II at Washington University in St. Louis before transitioning to their current organization, the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC), in 2016. At USSEC, they initially served as a Senior Accountant for a year before being promoted to Controller in 2017. Julie'smost recent role at the organization is Chief Financial Officer, a position they have held since September 2020. Julie's extensive experience in accounting and finance across various industries demonstrates their expertise and dedication in these fields.
