Ari Sulby

Ari Sulby currently serves as the first Director for State-Owned Enterprises at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, where responsibilities include developing trade policies to address distortions caused by state-owned enterprises and engaging with domestic and international stakeholders. Prior to this role, Ari served as a Senior Trade Enforcement Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of State, focusing on international economic policy, trade enforcement actions, and negotiations. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Investment Policy Advisor and an Inward Investment Policy Advisor at the State Department, where responsibilities encompassed trade and investment policy development and facilitating foreign investment. Earlier career positions include Program Analyst at the Social Security Administration, Assistant Recruitment Coordinator at the Internal Revenue Service, and Legislative Intern for Senator Arlen Specter. Ari holds a Master of Arts in International Law and Politics from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
