Daniel L. Watson has extensive experience in trade and immigration policy, currently serving as the Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for the Western Hemisphere at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative since November 2004. Previous roles include Deputy Assistant USTR for North America and Deputy Assistant USTR for Southeast Asia and the Pacific, as well as Director for Services Trade Negotiations. Prior to this, Daniel held positions at DHS/USCIS, working as a Policy Analyst focused on trade and employment-based immigration and as a Presidential Management Fellow in asylum and refugee affairs. Daniel’s education includes degrees from Indiana University Bloomington and the University of California, Berkeley.
