Emily Fischer

Emily Fischer currently serves as the Director for Southeast Asia and the Pacific at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Emily accumulated over a decade of experience at the U.S. Department of State, where responsibilities included serving as the Principal APEC Coordinator, leading initiatives across 15 federal agencies to drive economic growth in the Asia-Pacific region, and coordinating multilateral efforts aimed at promoting reforms in the Middle East and North Africa. Emily's background includes various roles in economic development, environmental education, and international volunteer work, as well as academic accomplishments, earning a Master of Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
