Julie Callahan

Julie Callahan is an experienced professional in international trade and agricultural affairs, currently serving as the Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Agricultural Affairs and Commodity Policy at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative since December 2016. Prior roles include Director of the Office of Strategy, Partnerships and Analytics at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, where Julie executed strategic planning and managed trade issues of significance. Additional positions include roles at the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service and American Chemical Society, focusing on international trade, policy development, and scientific engagement. Julie holds a PhD in Environmental, Earth, and Ocean Science from UMass Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
