Ruth Mensch is an experienced professional in the travel and hospitality industry, currently serving as the Director of IPW Sponsorships at the U.S. Travel Association since January 2012. Prior to this role, Ruth was a Business Development Executive focused on key objectives for the organization. From September 2007 to 2011, Ruth held the position of VP of National Accounts at Premier Alaska Tours, a leading in-bound Alaskan tour operator. Ruth's career began at Marriott International, where from 1986 to July 2007, various roles including Director of Wholesale/Tour Segment Sales and Marketing were undertaken, contributing to the development of programs and training initiatives that increased profitability for over 2,500 hotels. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration from Georgia State University.
