Eric Kessenich

Chief Operating Officer at U.S. Venture, Inc.

Eric Kessenich has held several positions in the energy industry. From 2022 to present, they have been the Chief Operating Officer of U.S. Venture, Inc. From 2010 to 2022, they were President of U.S. Oil, a division of U.S. Venture. During this time, they led the transformation of U.S. Oil from a regional jobber to a leading distributor of refined products, renewable fuels, LPGs, carbon offsets and sequestration, crude oil, agricultural commodities, and environmental attributes throughout North America. Eric also built scalable systems and processes for internal controls, governance, and effective daily P&L and position reporting. From 2004 to 2010, they were an Analyst, Scheduler, Trader at Saracen Energy Partners. During this time, they traded futures, options, swaps/blocks, and physical gasoline in the Gulf Coast, Group 3, and Chicago markets generating over $10 million in net income. Eric also performed technical analysis to predict future price fluctuations and financial performance, and developed customers to create fixed-forward contract sales of $5 million annual income.

Eric Kessenich received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004. Eric then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, which they completed in 2021.
