Thomas Evans

Thomas Evans is an experienced legal professional with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Thomas'scareer began in 1991 when they began working as an Attorney in private practice in Dallas and Austin, Texas. In 1997, they joined McLane Company as an Associate General Counsel, providing legal support to the commercial business. From 2002 to 2018, they held various roles at Walmart, including Vice President & General Counsel-Merchandising, Marketing & Supply Chain, and Vice President & General Counsel-Logistics. In 2018, they joined Conner & Winters as Of Counsel to expand the transportation practice and drive business development. From 2019 to 2023, they worked at XPO Logistics, Inc. as Senior Vice President, North American Transportation, Counsel, where they were responsible for rebuilding the legal division for the North American Transportation business unit. Currently, they are working as the Chief Legal Officer at U.S. Venture, Inc.

Thomas Evans attended San Marcos High School, followed by Trinity University where they earned a BA in Political Science in 1984. Thomas then went on to Washington and Lee University School of Law and earned a JD in 1991.
