Jennifer Smart

Jennifer Smart is an experienced sports management professional with a strong background in event coordination and leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Sport and Events at U SPORTS since July 2021, Jennifer previously held various roles at Rugby Canada from January 2007 to June 2021, including Director of Events and Senior Manager of Events. Additional experience includes serving as a Match Manager for prestigious events such as Rugby World Cup 2019, Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018, and the England 2015 Rugby World Cup. Jennifer also contributed to the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee as the Sport Organizing Chair for Rugby Sevens. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Graduate Certificate in Sport Business Management from Durham College.
