Dean van Kirk

Dean Van Kirk currently serves as the Financial Secretary-Treasurer and VDC Program Administrator at UA Local 469 since June 2022. Prior to this, Dean worked as the Training Director for the Arizona Pipe Trades Apprenticeship at UA Local 469 from February 2017 to June 2022. Dean's experience includes roles such as Regional BIM/VDC Design Manager and BIM Group Lead at Total Facility Solutions from February 2015 to February 2017, and CAD/BIM Designer at Harder Mechanical Contractors, Inc. from December 2014 to February 2015. Previous positions also include BIM Lead at University Mechanical from April 2011 to October 2014 and BIM Coordinator/Fabrication Shop Manager at BMWC Constructors from August 2010 to April 2011. Dean began the career as a CAD Designer at University Mechanical from August 2006 to August 2010, focusing on designing piping systems and leading BIM efforts for various commercial projects.
