David Elena is a dedicated educator and GIS professional. Currently, they serve as a professor at Universidad Nacional de La Plata, teaching Argentine and Latin American Tourism Geography, and at UADE, instructing on Geographic Information Systems in Environmental Management. They are also a member of the Geotechnology Commission at Instituto Argentino del Petróleo y del Gas.
