Ben Elson

Ben Elson possesses extensive expertise in the field of 3D Game Art and VFX, currently serving as a Programme Lead and Associate Lecturer at UCEN Manchester since January 2018. In addition to this role, Ben holds positions as a Senior External Moderator for UAL Awarding Body and Assistant Training Manager for WorldSkills UK - 3D Game Art, both since February 2022. Previously, Ben contributed to The Manchester College as a Tutor in Games Development and Creative Media, as well as serving as a Divisional Team Leader in the Creative Media, Business, Computing & Creative Digital Industries division from September 2007 until October 2023. Ben's academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Leeds, completed between 2002 and 2005, and earlier education at Holy Cross College and Woodhey High School.
