Hector Gerardo Perez Gonzalez

Hector Gerardo Perez Gonzalez is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as a Research Professor at Gannon University since January 2024 during a sabbatical year. Previously, from June 2015 to the present, Hector has held multiple leadership positions at UASLP, including Chair of the Department of Computer Science, Director of the Departamento de Ciencias Computacionales, and Director of Software Development. Hector's early career includes a role as Coordinador at UCEM from 1998 to 2002. Hector obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs between 1999 and 2003, and a Master's degree in Ciencias de la computación from UNAM from 1989 to 1992.
