Dylan Dekanchuk's work experience includes several roles in the field of business immigration law. Dylan began their career as an intern at the Allegheny County Sheriff's office in 2016, where they observed court cases and assisted with clerical work. In 2016, they also worked as an Assistant Paralegal at Fragomen, drafting petitions and applications, overseeing case status, and communicating with USCIS service centers. From 2017 to 2018, Dylan worked as a Business Immigration Paralegal at Epstein Becker & Green, P.C., where they performed similar tasks and maintained regular communication with clients and foreign nationals. In 2018, they joined Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP as a Business Immigration Paralegal II, handling a high volume of cases for high-profile clients and preparing immigration applications. In 2019, Dylan worked briefly at Liuzzo & Associates before joining Ogletree Deakins as a Business Immigration Paralegal II. Currently, they are working as a Portfolio Analyst at UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust. Throughout their career, Dylan has demonstrated proficiency in case management, case strategy, and client communication.
Dylan Dekanchuk completed their Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies and Administration of Justice at the University of Pittsburgh from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Diploma from Chaminade High School between 2008 and 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Dylan received the ILPA Institute Level I certification from the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) in January 2022, and the SIE Certification from FINRA in August 2021.
