Garon Meikle

Garon Meikle is the chief financial officer of the UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust. He is responsible for internal and external financial and regulatory reporting, finance management operations, budgeting, forecasting, analytical review treasury, and back-office investment operations. Meikle has been with the Trust for over 12 years, creating policies, procedures, and driving improvements.

Prior to joining the Trust, Meikle was with General Motors, where he managed the monthly and quarterly global consolidation close process for the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement preparation. He also previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte where he performed buy- and sell-side due diligence as well as served as an auditor across multiply sectors.

Meikle holds a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from St. Mary’s University. He is a chartered professional accountant in the Province of Ontario. Meikle also completed the Tuck Executive Program at the Tuck School of Business.
