Osamu Iwasawa

Osamu Iwasawa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and management. As the Founder and General Partner at UB Ventures since February 2018, Osamu has been instrumental in guiding investment strategies. Prior to this role, Osamu held several leadership positions at UZABASE Inc. from October 2011 to February 2018, including Managing Director, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing Asia and East Asia Business and spearheading new business development efforts. Osamu also served as President of Uzabase Hong Kong Limited, focusing on sales and marketing from October 2013 to February 2018. Earlier experience includes a consultancy at Nomura Research Institute, specializing in turnaround management and business strategy, and equity analysis at Lehman Brothers. Osamu holds a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Keio University, obtained between 2001 and 2007.
