Gilles Sedric Chokam

Gilles Sedric CHOKAM has a diverse and extensive work experience. Since 2018, they have been serving as the Chief Finance Officer at UBA Tchad. Prior to that, they held various roles at United Bank for Africa (UBA) - Cameroon, including Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Performance Management Officer, and Financial Performance Reporting Officer. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at UBA Cameroon as an Accountant & Financial Analysis, as well as an Internal AUDIT/CONTROL Officer. Gilles Sedric also served as the Accounting and Financial Manager at SOPROICAM SARL for a short period in 2011. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Financial Auditor at AFEC AC, where they performed audits, developed internal control procedures, and provided accounting assistance. Their earliest known role was as an Accountant at VISA Cameroon Sarl from 2005 to 2006.

Gilles Sedric CHOKAM completed their education at two different institutions in Cameroon. From 1996 to 2003, they attended Lycée de Mbanga, where they obtained a Baccalaureat Scientifique Serie C degree with a focus on Statistiques mathématiques et probabilités. Following that, they pursued higher education from 2003 to 2012 at Douala - Cameroun, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Comptabilité et finance.
