Theresa Henshaw

Theresa Henshaw is an accomplished financial executive currently serving as the Managing Director and CEO of UBA UK since February 2023. Prior to this role, Theresa was the Deputy CEO at UBA America from October 2022 to December 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing market-facing activities and business development, as well as treasury and corporate banking. Theresa has also held key positions such as Head of Business Development at UBA UK and Co-Head of Africa at Crown Agents Bank UK, leading initiatives in treasury systems and policies. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Treasury at Habib Bank UK, where a strong control environment and various financial management functions were established. Theresa holds a Master of Science in Finance and Investment from Cass Business School and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Calabar.
