UBC AeroDesign
Michelle Nguyen is an intern at FTI Consulting in the Construction, Projects & Assets team, supporting contractors and owners in construction project delivery disputes since May 2024. Currently, Michelle is also a marketing team member for UBC AeroDesign, focused on enhancing social media presence through Instagram posts, and is a member of the Micro Airfoils team, which designs lightweight, payload-lifting airplanes for international competition. Prior experience includes a mechanical internship at Introba, where Michelle contributed to the Oakridge Centre Redevelopment project through Revit modeling, schematic production, and engineering calculations from May 2023 to April 2024. Michelle is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at The University of British Columbia, with studies ongoing since 2021.

Founded in 1992, UBC AeroDesign is an engineering student team from the University of British Columbia that designs and builds fixed-wing airplanes to compete at the annual international SAE Aero Design competitions.
