Madison S. Brown, GIT, is a dedicated graduate teaching assistant at UBC Faculty of Forestry, focusing on conservation education, where responsibilities include guiding field trips, grading assignments, and delivering lectures. Prior experience includes serving as a junior geologist and GIS manager at Anomalous Exploration, co-leading GIS efforts for mineral exploration projects, and conducting vulnerability analyses in water supply under Dr. Michele Koppes at the Climate and Cryosphere Lab. Additional roles encompass managing data collection and vendor communications at the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems – UBC Farm, coordinating travel and safety for the UBC TSC Nordic Ski Club, and interning as a hydrogeology assistant at GSI Water Solutions. Brown holds a BSc with honors in Plant and Soil Sciences/Geology and is currently pursuing an MSc in Remote Sensing at The University of British Columbia.
