Rebecca van Pelt

Rebecca Van Pelt is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in human resources systems and analytics. Currently serving as Senior Manager of HRIS & Analytics at UBC since September 2023, Rebecca previously held the position of HR Systems Manager at Mativ and played a key role in enhancing employee experience for over 7,000 employees. Notable prior roles include HR Systems Manager and Senior Human Resources Business Partner at SWM International, where strategic HR initiatives supported business goals and employee engagement. Rebecca also managed the complete HR lifecycle at SWM International, overseeing a workforce of 250+ employees. Earlier experience includes serving as Human Resources Manager at Precision AirConvey Corporation and participating in a project team at DelStar Technologies, Inc. Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Wesley College and has completed a SHRM-CP Preparation Course at Wilmington University.
