Kamal Vyas

Kamal Vyas has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. Kamal began their career in 1996 at Delphi as an Advanced Quality Engineer and Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE). In 2006, they joined Trimble Inc. as an Associate Director of OEM Product Ops, Associate Director of Global Mechanical Commodity Mgmt & SQE, and Manager of Global Mechanical Commodity Mgmt & SQE. In this role, they were responsible for managing all aspects of Mechanical Commodities and Supplier Quality, major commodities, strategic supplier relationships, and purchased material cost. Kamal also provided NPI support to engineering teams in USA, Europe, and New Zealand. In 2022, they joined UBCO - Electric Adventure Vehicles as Sr. Director Ops., Supplier Development & Product Quality. In this role, they are responsible for leading the category and providing electric adventure vehicles (EAV) to customers across New Zealand, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Kamal Vyas completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat between 1982 and 1986. Kamal then pursued an MS in Engineering Management from the University of Dayton between 1991 and 1993. In 2014, they obtained a Master Certificate in Supply Chain Management and Procurement (Strategic Sourcing) from Michigan State University.
