Peng Tian has worked in various engineering roles since 2014. In 2016, they were a Senior Project Engineer at BAIC Motor Corporation Limited, where they were a key contact point for a multinational professional engineer team. Peng was responsible for Localization, Modular Design, Standardization and Weight Reduction. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Project Engineer and Thermal System Engineer at Beijing Automotive Technology Center, where they developed a hybrid thermal system for a new powertrain. In 2019, they were a Mechanical Engineer at UBCO - Utility Electric Vehicles, where they led the Gen5 battery project, improved key suppliers' performance, and participated in vehicle testing and data analysis. Currently, they are a Senior Project Engineer at UBCO - Utility Electric Vehicles and a Production Engineer at Manta5, where they are leading the G2 battery project, improving the quality of key strategical suppliers, and managing key outsourced projects.
Peng Tian completed a Master of Engineering - MEng in Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician from the University of Bath between 2010 and 2014.
