Lior Ron

Lior Ron is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and logistics, currently serving as CEO of Uber Freight since September 2016, where the focus is on creating a transparent and sustainable logistics infrastructure for drivers and shippers. Prior to Uber, Lior co-founded Otto, aimed at introducing self-driving trucks, and served as a special advisor at Google. Significant achievements include leading product management at Motorola Mobility, where Lior set the product strategy post-Google acquisition and developed the Moto X and Moto 360. As a Google Maps Product Lead, Lior contributed to scaling the platform's user base from 10 million to 1 billion. Lior's earlier experience includes key roles in the Israeli Army Intelligence, managing a large software development team. Lior holds an MBA from Stanford University and multiple degrees in computer science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
