Amaresh P. is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in developing AI-driven solutions across various domains. Currently at Uber since 2025, Amaresh is focused on creating a partner-agnostic, AI-powered autonomous vehicle platform and overseeing the Uber 4 business platform. Prior experience includes serving as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at GE HealthCare, where Amaresh led hospital optimization products, and as Head of Engineering at Amazon for multiple AI initiatives, including AWS SageMaker and AWS Textract/Rekognition. Earlier roles spanned engineering management at Thomson Reuters HighQ, Intuit, Hubzu, and Rediff, as well as co-founding machine learning-based platforms.
