Biswanath Panda

Biswanath Panda is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Uber, where leadership encompasses engineering and science teams focused on Pricing and Incentives for Mobility and Delivery. Previously, Biswanath served as Vice President of Monetization Engineering at Snap Inc., overseeing engineering efforts in monetization. Prior roles include Senior Director of Engineering at Waymo, where Biswanath led teams in the evaluation of the Waymo driver through advanced modeling and simulations, and a long tenure at Google that featured progressive leadership roles in engineering, including managing a team for Youtube Ads Quality and optimizing ad performance for over a decade. Biswanath’s early experience includes software engineering internships and research positions, contributing to advancements in algorithms and data structures. Educational background includes a PhD and MS in Computer Science from Cornell University and a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
