James Coomber

James Coomber has extensive law enforcement experience, beginning with a tenure at the Metropolitan Police from June 1998 to December 2000, where roles included Police Constable and London 2012 Olympic Delegation Security Officer. Coomber advanced to various positions at Kent Police, including Core Section Police Sergeant, Tactical Firearms Unit Police Sergeant, and Detective Sergeant, managing teams and handling critical incidents and investigations. Between 2014 and 2020, Coomber served as Senior Intelligence Officer at the National Crime Agency, coordinating intelligence efforts against organized crime. Current roles include Regional Public Safety Liaison Manager at Uber and an interim position as Detective Sergeant at Kent Police. Coomber is also an Infantry Soldier in the British Army since March 2022, and education includes a Diploma of Higher Education in Policing from Canterbury Christ Church University.
