Joshua Kim

Joshua Kim is a Staff Scientist at Uber since October 2024, previously serving as Head of Data Science at Lightspark from June 2022 to September 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist at Meta from July 2020 to June 2022, along with a Ph.D. student position at Stanford University from August 2015 to June 2020. Joshua has also interned in Core Data Science at Facebook during the summer of 2019 and worked as a Research Fellow at the California Institute of Technology from June 2013 to August 2014. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Master of Arts in Economics from Stanford University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Mathematics from the University of Washington.
