Matthew Christopher has extensive experience in claims management and strategy across various organizations in the insurance and transportation sectors. Currently serving in the Claims Process & Strategy role at Uber since September 2025, Matthew previously held positions at Rivian as Claims Strategy & Operations from March 2023 to September 2025, and at Clearcover as Vice President of Claims & Shared Services, Senior Director of Claims, and Director of Claims from January 2017 to December 2022. Earlier roles include Lead Consultant in Auto Claims Line Management at Allstate and several positions at Farmers Insurance, including Liability Claims Supervisor and Subrogation Supervisor. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Iowa and an MBA in Finance from DePaul Driehaus College of Business, along with additional education from Harvard Business School.
