Shafiq Amarsi

Shafiq Amarsi is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in commercial operations and strategic leadership across multiple prominent companies. Currently serving as VP and Global Head of Commercial Operations at Uber Eats since August 2024, Shafiq previously held the position of Senior Vice President for Go-to-Market Strategy, Operations, Enablement, IT, and Professional Services at Freshworks from February 2023 to August 2024. Notable career achievements include serving as Managing Director of Worldwide Strategy, Operations, and Enablement at Amazon Web Services from January 2015 to February 2023, and leading sales strategy and operations roles at Microsoft Corporation from 1999 to 2015. Shafiq co-founded PRIMA Canada Inc, where entrepreneurial vision and strategic leadership were pivotal to the company's growth. Shafiq holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Systems Design Engineering, Management Science, and Human Factors Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
