Shriniket Kale

Shriniket Kale is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in cloud computing, modernization initiatives, and high-performance data management systems. At Uber, from January 2019 to February 2025, Shriniket held various positions, culminating as Senior Engineering Manager, leading multiple compute teams across the US and Europe and managing an organization of around 30 engineers. Prior roles included managing storage engineering teams responsible for critical components such as Cassandra and Docstore, overseeing a substantial budget, and driving efficiency efforts. Shriniket's earlier experience includes a tenure at SAP Labs, contributing to the architecture of scalable databases and rapid prototyping with HANA, and a software development internship at Salesforce.com focused on database performance. Shriniket holds an MS in Computer Science from UC Irvine and completed Executive Education in Leadership and Strategy at Harvard Business School.
