Yanique Williams

Yanique Williams is an accomplished policy professional with extensive experience in public policy and community engagement. Since November 2020, Yanique has held multiple leadership roles at Uber, including Co-Chair of the Black at Uber Global ERG and Public Policy Manager for Canada. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Policy for the Minister for Women and Gender Equality in the Government of Canada, where Yanique managed key policy files related to trade and support for diverse exporters. Additional roles in various levels of government and civil society have involved developing policy strategies, conducting research, and facilitating community initiatives, showcasing a commitment to enhancing social and economic opportunities for marginalized groups. Yanique holds a Master of Public Administration from Glendon Campus of York University and has completed an International Master's exchange in International Relations at Sciences Po.
