Omid Moradiannasab

Omid Moradiannasab has extensive work experience in the field of AI and NLP. Omid began their career as a Research Assistant at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) from April 2014 to December 2015. Omid then joined parlamind GmbH as a Software Engineer AI & NLP from May 2016 to August 2017.

In 2017, Omid joined YUKKA Lab AG as a Senior NLP & AI Engineer and later took on the role of Acting Director Natural Language Processing from January 2018 to June 2022. During their time at YUKKA Lab AG, they were responsible for establishing a multilingual application for language understanding and opinion analysis, setting up an evaluation framework for quality assurance, and actively developing software components.

Currently, Omid is working at Ubermetrics Technologies GmbH as a Senior Software Engineer AI & NLP, starting in July 2022.

Omid Moradiannasab has a strong educational background in the field of language and communication technologies. Omid received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2011. Omid further pursued their studies and obtained a Master's Degree in Language Science and Technology (Computational Linguistics) from Universität des Saarlandes in the years 2013-2015. Additionally, Omid completed another Master's Degree in EM Language and Communication Technologies from the University of Groningen from 2014 to 2015. Along with their formal education, Omid has also earned various certifications, including Financial Markets, Decision Making in a Complex and Uncertain World, Natural Language Processing, Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1, and Machine Learning from reputable institutions such as Coursera and FutureLearn Ltd.
