Ian Aaron

Ian Aaron is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leading technology-focused companies. Currently serving as CEO of Ubicquia LLC since March 2017, Aaron oversees a platform that provides municipalities and utilities with innovative smart city solutions. Previously, Aaron held leadership roles including Director and Chairman at Pictometry International Corp., where the company was successfully sold for $715 million, and President of Gemstar TV Guide, managing all branded technology products. As CEO of TVN Entertainment, Aaron transformed the company into a leading video-on-demand platform. Earlier in their career, Aaron was President of SOFTNET SYSTEMS INC, a pioneer in cable modem infrastructure. Aaron holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Communications - Marketing Research from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
