Yassir Laraki

Yassir Laraki has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Yassir started their career at Fido Solutions as a Network Mgmt. Systems Analyst Programmer from 2002 to 2005. Later, they moved to Rogers Communications and held multiple roles including OSS - Senior System Analyst on Fault Mgmt. IBM Netcool from 2005 to 2008, OSS - Technical Expert on Network Inventory Systems from 2008 to 2010, OSS - Team Lead on Network Performance Mgmt. HP OVPI from 2010 to 2012, OSS - Technical Expert on Service Assurance Solutions from 2012 to 2013, and OSS - Manager, Service Mgmt. Solutions from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Laraki worked at Dell EMC as a Senior Systems Integration Engineer and a Senior Software Engineer. Yassir then joined Ciena in 2017 as a Solution Engineer - Software Engineering. In 2018, Laraki moved to GE Current, a Daintree company, where they served as a System Operations Leader. Currently, they are working at Ubicquia, Inc as a System Operations Leader - Intelligent Cities and Director, Systems Operations since 2020. Throughout their career, Laraki has gained expertise in various areas, including software engineering, system operations, and network management.

Yassir Laraki holds an Engineer's Degree in Electronics and Communications from Ecole Mohammadia Des Ingenieurs, which they obtained from 1987 to 1992. Yassir later completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Sciences at Université de Sherbrooke from 2000 to 2003. In 2013, they pursued further education in Business Administration and Management, General, at McGill University, where they completed a Mini-MBA program in 2014.
