Chang Kyu Kim has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and regions. Chang Kyu began their career at Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC) as Manager of Asia Business Development from 1989 to 1994. Chang Kyu then joined Pavilion Technologies, Inc. as Director of Asia Markets and Business Development from 1995 to 1999. After that, Kim worked at Forbis Inc. as VP of Global Marketing and Sales in 2000, followed by a position at nCipher as Director of Far East Asia Market from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, they founded Trian LLC, where they served as President and CEO, specializing in market penetration consultancy and exporting Japanese business ideas. From 2007 to 2013, Kim was a board member at M3 Technology Inc., a company providing content security solutions. Finally, since 2014, they have held the role of Head of Sales and Partnerships, Far East and Asia at UBiqube.
Chang Kyu Kim attended Seoul National University from 1982 to 1985, where they pursued studies in Microbiology without obtaining a degree. Chang Kyu later joined The University of Texas at Austin from 1986 to 1988, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics.
