Valdis Takeris

Valdis Takeris has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Valdis is currently working as a Project Manager at Ubiquiti Inc. since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Printful from January 2021 to October 2022 as a Printful Bits IT Project Manager & Product Owner, where they were responsible for new IT product development, project management, development tasks, testing, business development, marketing, sales, customer support, and communication.

Valdis was the Co-Founder & CEO of noscos from September 2017 to December 2021, which is a face recognition AI technology that helps make photo and video archives searchable. The company received funding from Google DNI fund and graduated from the Overkill Venture Capital startup accelerator program.

Valdis also worked as a Flutter Developer in 2020 and as the COO of FabControl (3DOptimizer.com) from May 2020 to November 2020. In these roles, they were responsible for product definition, development, technical implementation, management of developers, sales, and support.

Valdis has experience as the Head of IT Department at adevo from December 2013 to April 2019, where they managed and acquired human resources, created and demonstrated project offers for clients, planned and delegated changes for the internal IT system, and reported work statuses to company owners. Valdis also founded MurTT, a small IT company offering web development, native mobile apps, IT consulting, and desktop applications. Valdis was the Founder of MurTT from February 2012 to April 2019.

Valdis has held various other positions such as Co-founder of iGotClient from May 2013 to December 2017, Head of Digital Department at AdEvolutionDK from March 2013 to December 2013, and IT Project Manager and Lead Programmer at Lattelecom from October 2012 to March 2013. In these roles, they were involved in managing and acquiring human resources, coordinating development processes, overseeing programming progress, organizing testing, planning integrations, managing budgets, and creating project execution plans.

Valdis Takeris completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1994 to 2003, they attended Riga Secondary School No.49, where they obtained a secondary school education. Then, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Latvijas Universitate from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they advanced their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Information Technologies from 2007 to 2009.
