Mathilde Fievez has a diverse work experience in the field of renewable energy and materials science. Mathilde has recently worked as a Module PV Engineer at Ubiquitous Energy. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Dauskardt group at Stanford University. Mathilde'sresearch focused on perovskite materials and their integration into large-area PV modules.
Before their time at Stanford, Mathilde worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at CEA Tech and Grenoble University, where they pioneered the deposition of perovskite layers via slot-die coating and demonstrated their integration into large-area PV modules. Mathilde'swork involved process engineering, control of crystallization, large-area coatings, homogeneity control, and PV module fabrication.
Mathilde also gained experience as a Research Associate at Nanyang Technological University, where they developed a crystallization control tool for large-area slot-die coated perovskite layers and integrated printed perovskite absorbers in carbon-based PV architectures.
Mathilde's work experience also includes an internship as a Development Engineer at First Solar, where they researched and developed more efficient CdTe solar cells. Mathilde also completed a master project at Paul Scherrer Institut PSI in the Electrochemistry Laboratory.
Mathilde gained further research experience at CSIRO, where they worked in the Flexible Electronics Laboratory on perovskite solar cells and the use and programming of 3D printers. Additionally, they completed an internship at SUEZ environnement, where they worked on the development of multi-parameter sensors for real-time monitoring of drinking water quality in the French network.
Overall, Mathilde Fievez's work experience demonstrates their expertise in renewable energy technologies, materials science, and research and development in the field of perovskite solar cells.
Mathilde Fievez has a diverse education history, primarily focused on pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. Mathilde attended Université Grenoble Alpes from 2018 to 2021, where they obtained a PhD in Materials Science. During the same period, they also enrolled at Nanyang Technological University Singapore and completed a second PhD in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies. Additionally, Mathilde was part of the PhD School at EIT InnoEnergy, studying Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
Prior to their PhD studies, Mathilde Fievez completed a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Chimie ParisTech - PSL, from 2014 to 2017. In 2016 and 2017, they furthered their studies as an exchange student at ETH Zürich, focusing on topics such as solar cells, smart energy, smart cities, and electrochemistry applied to energy storage.
Aside from their academic achievements, Mathilde also holds certifications in English and German language proficiency. Mathilde obtained a B2 level certification in English from Bloomsbury International in July 2013, and a C2 level certification in German from Hessisches Kulturministerium in July 2012.
